Hi zelozelos. I LOVE this idea! So many movies out there about the hero/es getting their first big break and struggling with the usual issues: creative differences, insecurity, what have you, but can't remember a story where they go to such lengths to make it happen for them. The thing I'm not clear on is whether their fake death is the inciting incident for the story, or the climax already? In other words, what is the middle of your story about? Their struggle to find a solution or their fake deaths not being a solution to their issue, and if so, where will their main opposition come from? Cheers!
I have to agree, story is conflict but there doesn't seem to be any conflict, they have a hit, they fake their death's, they live happily ever after.
Where is the conflict?
Another interesting concept, but again, who is the protagonist, what is his goal, who's the antagonist, etc.?
