ok. So I had a thought. If we give him meaning.. so his brother is the surviving pilot and must be rescued.

I agree DPG, the lead character should have a desperate need for the money. It should mean the whole world to him.

I did not get the setting from the logline

Why should I care or want the bounty hunter to get the money? What makes him more worthy of the loot than all the others converging on the crash scene?

Well it's post apocalyptic, so the desert could be any where in the world it all seems the same at the moment. If investors are asking it's in America. The idea of the hercules was to give the plane some size about. It doesn't have to be.
The gunslinger term I used because repeating mercenary didn't sound right. not a 1800's cowboy.
The military is a private army contracted by the Bank to rescue there money.

A young and inexperinced bounty hunter must travel down a dangerous road and battle against insane mercenaries to be the one who gets the riches. All before the bank's army arrives.

I don't necessarily thing of gunslingers as old west, but the logline could stand for more vibrant adjectives. Also, does it need to be a Hercules plane? And do these assortment of mercenaries have a reason to be there? Are they with the military? Also what desert are we talking about? Is this in Arizona? Saudi Arabia?Australia? That makes a big difference. Is this military in their homeland or invaded land?
