“A solitary chinese student gets lost one night during the end-of-year trip in Venice, encountering all kinds of nocturnal characters in a decadent suburb as he tries to find himself and his future.”

I know, it is ambiguous even for me now. This was my first logline of this story, i'm working on it.

As far as i have now of the story its a road movie (by walk) where the chinese guy has some introspective conversations and experiences with people with lots of problems as he tries to find something to do with his future.

This is not a comparision, but is like A Straight Story by Lynch.

You have described a character and a series of events but there are no dramatic developments and so you don't actually have a story.
