superb..I am struggling to find a believable and relatable conflict in the story.

"After being humiliated by the most popular girl in school, a nerdy programmer creates a hot robot girlfriend to prove to his classmates he's got some rizz."

Not sure if rizz is the correct word, perhaps the word 'game' instead.

Or perhaps he creates the hot robot to make his crush jealous so she will change her mind and go out with him. (but, falls for the robot instead lol)

What are the stakes? Does this character have an arc, or do they just get a robot gf and live happily ever after? It'd be best to think about the consequences more when it comes to making artificial intelligence to replace the physical love from someone else. Her (2013) and Ex Machina are great examples.
