Here is a take that addresses how the protag may go against the mind control plot:

"The first human test subject for a global mind control conspiracy discovers an immunity that makes him the only one able to stop it."

There's really a lot you could do here. You can make the immunity obvious: the mind control works on everyone but him. Or you could make the immunity "proactive": the hero is able to use mind control as well. This would make your hero like Neo from The Matrix, or Luke in Star Wars, able to use the supernatural power that enslaves against the force of evil itself.

As Tony Edward said.

>>puts his life and freedom in jeopardy

That's standard operating procedure for movies of this (of most) genres. What is the specific nature of the jeopardy that makes it unique, distinct from all those other movies?

>>when he interferes

Again, that's SOP in most movies of this (of most) genres: the protagonist interferes, opposes, frustrates --and eventually defeats the antagonist. How? What, specifically, MUST he do in this case?

Hi lewisricekrisy --

I like the set-up, but we need to know HOW he interferes... I can't see what the test subject actually has to do -- he could 'interfere with him in any number of ways, and the WAY he interferes directly impacts on the stakes/ drama/ awesomenous/ marketability etc etc of the story.

Anyways, best of luck, below is just a take, with liberties etc...:

A test subject from an underground mind control laboratory escapes with a crazed scientist's plans for world domination, and must convince the authorities before he's used to assassinate the president.

Hi Eliotsdad, thankyou for taking the time to leave a comment.
In answer to your questions, the scientist has created a voodoo type of zombie mind control drug, which he wants to use for global domination puposes. The man was an unwilling test subject/guinee pig who has been in this state for a long time. When he is accidently cured (so to speak), he has the ability to expose the scientists plan. By doing so, he is putting his neck on the block.
when he is a zombie, he has no freedom of choice or anything else. When he is cured, he has the ability of self control. In displaying this he will be in danger, so he must find a way of acheiving it.

Hi, this is my first attempt at reviewing. Would be helpful to know more about the "MAN', and also about the voodoo zombie state. Why? Where? How? Not sure how him waking is necessarily connected with mad scientist? The zombie state and global mins control seem to be vaguely connected, but I'm not sure.
Also the line about his pursuit of freedom is a little unclear, what this is? if it's separate to 're-awakening from the state', then I'd need a little more.
