After having searched around the world for the perfect girl, a young man finds just what he?s been looking for in his own small town where a high school friend has always been waiting for him.

It seems so generic. Give me a specific attribute or two for the protagonist (particularly if they hint at weaknesses), and I suspect the rest will fall into place.

This was envisioned as a character piece. His conflict is internal believing that happiness is out there somewhere when in fact in can sometimes be right in front of you. The conflict throughout the film is that even though he returns home, he still thinks "it" is out there and he just needs to find it. He is blind to what is right in front of him.

Anyway, has potential. But what objective goal and dramatic need sent him on a worldwide quest? Why was he blind to what was in his own small town?
