When a teenager shows up engaged, his possessive single mother fakes her love for his fianc?’s single dad, to foil their premature marriage

Title: “meet your step-sis”

Some detail:

It’s her objective goal to fake it so he cannot marry her step sister (legally speaking)

Her son’s goal is to prove that they are faking it (of course he knows)

And the journey makes her realize that although their engagement was premature, but this young couple have a good chemistry and are mature enough to make their own decision

It resolves when she agrees they were faking it.
And the young couple realise they’d wait until graduation to get married

I think it would make for an interesting story if the teenage kids fall in love after their parents do.? Talk about complications.

If the mother is the MC, best to keep it all from her point of view, so the second version works better in that regard.

That said, I don't understand the logic.
How would her being in love/fake being in love with the girl's dad prevent the kids from getting married? Do you mean that the mother plans on marrying the dad and in doing so make the boy and girl siblings in law? If so, they can still marry - they're not blood relations after all.

I like the short version.

Personally, I wouldn't mind knowing how they do it at the same time, though. Hmmmm....

Is there a way of telling that briefly? Now I don't know if it's necessary, but as it stands in the last version, they might do anything: get anyone how can marry them out of town, "misplace" their birth certificates (assuming they are needed), use a funky weather maker to make it storm on every proposed wedding date... lol.

With the first version I could picture the events better. I'm guessing a potential producer needs that too.
