The brutal arrest of his war-hero father by a tyrannical government galvanizes a I-don't-give-a-damn-about-anyone-or-anything criminal to give a damn and fight to free his father.
A logline usually describes the protagonist's primary and singular objective goal. Which I take to be: free his father. "Overthrow a tyrannical government" is either a means to that singular goal or a collateral consequence.
