When a mysterious TV show hits the airwaves, two young women must race against time to stop a killer from the show from invading their house.

1) It's a Twilight Zone like show.
2) They recognize the killer on TV because the bodies are shown.

Why is the show mysterious? I don't quite understand. Do they watch this show and that is how they recognize the killer? Not quite sure I get the concept.
