When a Bible Schoolteacher is brutalized by two racist cops, he must kill or be killed.

Where screenwriters learn the form and logline their screen ideas.

It's not clear in the logline if the? lead character must "Kill or be killed" while the cops are beating him... in self-defense
Or if the lead character must "Kill or be killed" after the fact... in revenge.? (Like in the movie Death Wish)
If it's the first case then this is just a situation.
If it' the second case then you should have someone he cares about brutalized
As a Christian he will believe in forgiveness, If someone strikes you, you are to turn the other cheek.
However that Christian belief is not as easy to follow if it's someone you care about who's brutalized.
That being said, if this is an evolution of the logline you had previously posted, it is getting better.
"When his son and daughter are brutalized by two police officers during a routine stop, a former Marine turned preacher sets aside his vows in order to get revenge on the two law officers responsible."
As mikepedley 85 said.
How can he have superhero powers when he couldn't even defend himself?? What is the source of his power?
And kill who?
Reads like the origin story for an anti-superhero.
I dunno.
