If the goal is to save the planet, then the inciting incident should be whatever is immediately threatening the planet.

I think i'll focus on the most glaring issue I have:?How does the plane crash fit into this story? Do they find themselves in the race against the cyborg because their plane crashed? Or would they have ended up in the conflict even if they didn't??crash? My gut instinct says you could probably omit the whole part about the plane crash and Bermuda and the logline would actually be better for it.
