A stranded hockey team must fight for survival against the harsh Canadian winter… and a horde of time-travelling Nazi zombies.

Well... while I love a fun zombie film and I do like the idea of the survivors being a hockey team, I really have to sigh a little at the nazi zombies. Thing is, the whole "for extra scary, insert nazi" thing is getting really, really old really, really fast. Why do they hav to be nazis? Is there really any reason for that when they can just be Canadian Hockey Zombies instead - which is really both more unique and a hell of a lot more fun?

It also sounds like the Norwegian horror zombie film Dead Sno (Dead Snow). Shame about the "face off in the corner" joke can't be made (though that's a leprosy gag isn't it) (apologies to all the lepers who use this site).

There's clearly the seed of a good concept but it will need a lot of work.

My main concern is that I don't know you as a writer and you are going to do a multi-protagonist movie. I can guarantee you right now that it won't work. Name ONE successful multi-protag movie written by a newcomer? (read this: http://bit.ly/ONEhero)

Pick one character, possibly the team captain. You could play with increasing stakes: first it's a matter of him getting the team back on the road to make it in time for a competition, later it becomes a matter of life and death.

A logline is not only about the concept: it needs to demonstrate that you understand story structure, stakes etc.
