A man with alzheimer disease, is wanted by his family while he is lost in the city.

Well, i want to show flashbacks of the old man while he is lost in the city. He want to do a long trip but he forgot where he is going. I would like to do a Drama - Comedy film so i want to go deep on each character (the old man, wife and 2 sons).

Having just watched 'A Separation' recently, is the old man the main character? If he is, how does the audience relate and emote to him?

What are the conflicts that the family will face?

Could make for an emotional story :)

I assume that the real goal for our protagonist is to find his way back home. Is this correct?

I am also wondering about the stakes. He's lost in the city but surely people will help him when they understand his situation.
