It reminds me of the god awful movie Timeline.

So, revisionist history? That's SOP now. Don't see what's novel here.

I did not get the 'time travel' aspect from reading your logline.

From the logline it seemed like they were just re-writing history books like the communist do.
You might want to mention that they go back in time to change history.

"He who controls the present controls the past, he who controls the past controls the future."

Hello! Thank you for your input. Just thought about this and typed it. I drew inspiration from the current pandemic, but I’m thinking of something else. Still didn’t think of an antagonist or how they’ll do it either. And just thought about the storytellers to spice it up a bit and it’s not just cold hard facts. I have a lot to think about to see where the story takes me. Thank you!

I like the concept involving time travel and historians, but what part do the storytellers play? Its missing a conflict and a sense of urgency also. Do they need to create a time machine before a certain date or before a certain event happens? What major conflicts get in their way? Is someone trying to stop them? Are members of the group struggling to work together?

Their goal is a little vague as well and needs more specificity. Is it to simply build the time machine and use it, or to travel back in time to and change a certain thing/multiple things in order to improve the future?

Hope that helps and best of luck!
