I just realised this might be better and more marketable from the woman's perspective, similar to The Invisible Man.

In DPG’s logline example, I dig the focus on modeling instead of a pic to persuade someone to cheat, also that he removed “mistakenly” to give more intent to your story.
I too am a married spud, but we all at some point have thought “what if” - would love to see this story follow that rabbit hole 😉
BTW: There could be a “Weird Science” AI/clone version of this, where a spouse would have to compete with their partner's real-life fantasy lover.

Thanks a lot for the feedback, an excellent point you raise! I think I'd exerted so much focus in trying to explain the concept in a logline that I neglected the action that follows from the decision!

P.S. That the algorithm is buggy is an interesting plot twist, but I suggest it need not be included in the logline. Loglines need not give away the Big Plot Twist and should never reveal a spoiler. IMHO, the concept of match making by brain scans is strong enough to attract eyeballs and interest.

First of all, I think this a cool concept. It has a good story hook -- match making by means of AI brain scans.

The story hook is robust. By that I mean that it has the potential to generate several intriguing story lines and character pairings.

However, I suggest the logline needs tweaking. One issue is that it frames the plot as a decision to be made. Will he or won't he pursue a real life woman who seems to match the model?

But plots are not about a character deciding whether to decide. A plot is about the action that follows **after** the decision is made. Hamlet talks to himself about whether "to be or not to be" -- but he's already made the decision to avenge his father's murder. It's no longer a question of whether, but of how and when.

So what do you want your character to **do**? Dump his wife and pursue his feminine ideal? Covertly pursue an affair while still married? Or...?

As I said, I believe the concept is robust; the premise of match making by means of AI brain scans can generate several viable plot lines. Three different plot lines readily came to my mind.
