When a workoholic father is ordered to spend more time with his disconnected, tech obsessed family, their gadget free weekend in the wilderness turns into a fight for survival against the elements far from the comforts of home.

I'm not sure why, but I kind of imagined this as a ridiculous comedy/horror while reading (Cabin in the Woods, Shaun of the Dead).

Just a quick side note. You could also title this story: Recalculating.

Because when you make a wrong turn the GPS says, "Recalculating"

and it seems as though the father's life has taken a wrong turn and he's 'recalculating' his life.
