Why MUST she do anything? Kids say stuff all the time, most of which makes little to no sense. Why does she suddenly decide to take his claims seriously? Why MUST she act?
Simplified:
When a single mother investigates her toddler's claim that he was murdered in his previous life, she must solve the murder before she gets arrested as the prime suspect.
And, yes, I know that toddler is small, but believe me, a 3-year-old could actually mention death. Plus, he can be a charismatic 3-year-old.
Or whatever, you pick the age. :-)
Agreed with DPG.
This may be to complex for its own good. What's the most important aspect of the story? Is it the concept of past lives, the mother and son relationship or proving the innocence?
