What does she want out of the date? ?What does he want? ? What is each character fighting for on this date?

(And there has to be a conflict between them even if low key and both are minding their manners. ?The essence of drama is conflict. If there's no conflict, then there's no drama.)

As far as I can tell, the plot is about a college girl who meets with her high school ex to find out why she's failed (again) in a relationship.

Well, at that age I venture that most young adults are going through a period of trial and error in their relationships. ?That's part of the unavoidable process of growing up. ? It may be headline news to her that at that age love isn't everlasting and often blinding ?-- but, alas, it's not an uncommon experience and realization.

What is so special, so unique about her trials and errors? ?Is there a unique angle or twist in relationships that is going to be explored in this film?
