The general idea is interesting but the logline has too many details.
I would only include the shopping mall if that's the main location (i.e. he gets trapped there for most of the story). Then you could try:
"A die hard video gamer camping out for the release of the hottest new game must fight for survival when he is trapped at the mall by zombies."
Or without the location:
"A die hard video gamer camping out for the release of the hottest new game must fight for survival when his town is mysteriously infested with zombies."
What's his goal besides survival? Meaning, is it comedic, like he wants to survive the zombie apocalypse AND make it home with that game? Or does the game not matter once the zombies come into focus? Also, you could set up a pretty funny time clock, where he has to defeat all the zombies by sunrise, or else he won't be able to buy the game when the store opens (because zombies really hurt retail sales lol)
Not sure exactly what tone/angle you are going for, but Scott Pilgrim meets Shaun of the Dead would be a really cool idea.
