Deaf, mute Billy finds his parents brutally murdered on Halloween.  In his effort to get help he discovers a band of masked killers systematically targeting homeowners; after evading one killer  he regroups and foils several attacks.  The killers’ clever escape plan succeeds, but Billy stubbornly persists and forces a showdown that leads to their eventual capture.

I like this, the logline could be tightened up though. Also, for the logline, ensure the killer's focus is ON this boy’s house – not the ambiguous people on his block.
Leaning towards:
“A deaf-mute boy must evolve from prey to predator when a group of masked killers invades his home on Halloween”
