Thank you everyone on your comments, advice, and ideas.? This logline presents many imaginable twist,? conundrums, as well as many new story directions.
I'm going to put this one away for a few months and let it percolate.

Another twisty question occurs to me:

Why is the shrink on a hit list?? What is the dark ghost in his past?? If she's been hiding her past (and present), then so has he?

So there could be a tandem character arc for both.? In order for each to help the other, they have to come clean with their pasts.

There has to be a compelling reason why she NEEDS the shrink,? why she gets impaled on the horns of a dilemma .? PTSD works for me. Or maybe she's bipolar -- that may create? interesting complications in? the 2nd and 3rd Acts.

However, building on mikepedley85's idea:

What if another hit man gets the job to off her shrink?? But she volunteers to take the job -- so she can save him?.? She stalls for time to develop a plan and break the news to him.? And finally the job is given to the guy with a deadline.? Now she must act.
