I would watch this movie, but why does he need this certain doctor? Other than that go on Kickstarter and make a movie man.

The urgency of getting his "real" voice back is enough, no need to add the obstacle of finding a doctor.

Like in all stories an inner journey is a good thing, him shedding his homophobia and gaining tolerance is great but needs higher stakes.

What if he is a singer in a successful neo Nazi heavy metal band or a christian fundamentalist group, him sounding gay could have far greater implications than just his career.

I like the idea of a homophobic singer waking up with a female voice, this is original and funny. Is the problem homophobia or machismo? I like the urgency (to have his voice back before the concert). I just don't understand why he must find his "estranged doctor" - why is it hard to find? why can't the singer go to another doctor? I can imagine many reasons but it would be better if the logline is more clear.
