When the world?s #1 hacker contracts a digital virus created by the omnipresent MegaCorps, he must rise up and bring down the system he has been leeching off for so long.

I agree with Kriss and should say a "fatal digital virus" which should address Nicholas' stakes question.

As to irony, as a hacker he has leeched off the system. Using his skills to bring the system down is the irony.

What are the stakes? Why does this hacker have to rise up and take down this system? (the link between him getting a virus and having to take such a drastic cause of action is totally unclear to me). Also ... where's the irony in a story about a great hacker having to continue doing what hackers do?

Much better and more to the point but wander if you just need to state that the virus is deadly? Just add a 'deadly digital virus'. Then it just shows that they are after his life and not just his computer files, if you see what I mean.

Other than that it is much better. Good job
