When the world?s #1 hacker contracts a digital virus created by the omnipresent MegaCorps, he must rise up and bring down the system he has been leeching off for so long.

I agree with Kriss and should say a "fatal digital virus" which should address Nicholas' stakes question.
As to irony, as a hacker he has leeched off the system. Using his skills to bring the system down is the irony.
ugh ... *course of action. Sorry.
What are the stakes? Why does this hacker have to rise up and take down this system? (the link between him getting a virus and having to take such a drastic cause of action is totally unclear to me). Also ... where's the irony in a story about a great hacker having to continue doing what hackers do?
