Hello,
I think your movie has an interesting and original main character, and the idea that a 'theorician' must take action is a good trick to build a plot: try to analyze "Man's Favorite Sport?" where the main character is a professional fishing equipement clerk, very able to sell the equipement, but in reality he can't fish - when his boss send him to a fishing contest with a beautiful girl... Here the goal and the stakes are quite clear keep the job, win the girl). I think that you should work on the motivation of your character and on the conflict that will fuel the plot.

I agree with Nir Shelter.? It sets up a situation for a possible plot but falls short of outlining one.? The physicist certainly wants to? stay alive -- but to what end?? What objective goal does he settle on as a result discovering he can skydive off cliffs?? Half the stakes are there:? he'll kill himself he fails -- but what's the upside?? What does he stand to gain by his skydiving besides an ephemeral thrill?? Ultimately, what's the dramatic purpose and meaning?of his pursuit?

What is the main character's goal?

If his goal is to stay alive then he should just not jump off a cliff.
What is the dilemma here?

If he chooses to jump of cliffs then he chooses to put himself at risk, this is not a big problem rather a choice he makes between the allure of the experience and the associated danger.
Therefore I ask what is the main character's goal?
