When a work obsessed L.A Detective causes a car crash while distracted on the job and his kid brother turns up dead by the roadside, it is up to him to find the killer and prove to his mother he was not to blame at the same time he must quell the racial tensions that are heating up all around him.

"Crash" is an ensemble piece with so many characters and story threads, I doubt ?it can be reduced to a compact logline.
