There's not enough space in a logline to list and sketch characters in an ensemble cast. That will have to wait for the pitch meeting. What producers want to see in a logline is a succinct statement (30 words or less) the franchise, the central conceit that will drive the story episode after episode, season after season.

The franchise for this series seems to be: Five "fish out of water" struggle to become doctors.

But will millions of viewers want to see characters who don't have the right stuff to be accepted by a prestigious medical school? I dunno.
