I've been trying to think of a different way to describe this guy. Hotshot never felt right to me, so thanks for affirming that. I said hotshot to convey some aspects of him (arrogance, competence in his field, willing to break rules, etc.) but probably no the most important one, which is a disregard for the privacy of the people on the show. I'll need to think that over.
