A paranormal investigator, injured and trapped in a bed, can only survive with help from an unscrupulous arsonist, a flesh-eating hound or the unwelcomed spirits he?s been hired to chase!
I hear what you're saying. However, the fact that he's not "permanently" bedridden is irrelevant to the story, or so it would appear. Long term or short term, his "handicap" is one of the elements that will keep viewers wanting…

I definitely like where the story is going. However, instead of saying "injured and trapped", perhaps you could say "bedridden" instead. Just my two cents.

While posing as a street person at night to scam people, a conniving ad executive is faced with his greatest fears when he loses everything and becomes homeless himself!
Good suggestion. And sadly, I saw Trading Places in the theatres when it came out! lol

Thank you for your feedback. A shout out goes to Geno at www.thescriptmentor.com for suggesting I re-work my old log line. In fact, they actually gave me detailed notes on the first 10 pages of my screenplay at no cost.

During a rich Horror Writer's night away of drinking with two friends, each tells a story which is played out, while his greedy wife defectively conjures a demon to murder him. Meanwhile, two demon hunting steampunk women are on the demon's trail.
One of the things we have to remember is that, generally speaking, loglines are for high concept screenplays. Just sayin'... :)

When left for dead by his former gang, a reformed outlaw seeks to avenge the murder of his family after an Indian mystic "gifts" him eternal life.
Maybe if you reversed the order of the logline it might be more clear. So perhaps it would be "An Indian mystic "gifts" a reformed outlaw with eternal life after being left for dead by his former gang."

Nursing home residents? band together to battle a corrupt administrator, local thugs and greedy heirs in their efforts to retain their home, regain their youth, and reclaim the shuffleboard championship.
Love the casting choices too. Although I'm sure Rose Marie is still around too! :)
