I wish I could edit my log lines, but I'll just do it again with a correction (and expanding the plot a bit)
on A group of strangers volunteering for a program where they have their skin color removed discover that beauty truly comes from within.

I don't think the group idea would have worked for me either. Plus, I believe in keeping one perspective for this kind of story.
