Wow... thanks I did write it over using 3 pages of notebook paper to get to that point. Also aiming for the 27 words limit as well. Hopefully others think the same or can give constructive feedback to improve it.

Make it shorter. Cut out the neighbor, cut out extremely cut out the confirmations, if there is some obstacle (money, parents, feelings etc) that prevents her from just taking her kids then mention that. Also I don't see a character…

I say yes to your last question. Also maybe just to mess around or for some flavor to make the logline more like "OMG i want to know what's going on" Throw in something about the conflict of the shadow…

Change temporary to permanent (even if you know it's temporary) that may setup the conflict for your idea and the logline a bit easier. Also what richiev says works as well.

That's the thing he isn't a god, he's more like an agent. One person out of a single police force type of thing. Think Adjustment Bureau. But the price the pay is his own existence, and job. But I can't…
